How long is the Aeron guaranteed for?

The Aeron chair comes with a guarantee of 12 years structurally, 5 years on the pellicle (seat and back), and 3 years on the gas lift height adjustment and armpads.

Please note it is only warranteed in the country it was delivered to and to the first user. Second hand Aerons are not covered.

You can find the full warranty details at http://www.hmeurope.com/warranty/

Does the Aeron chair require assembly?

The Aeron chair comes fully assembled in a cardboard box. The price on our site includes tailgate delivery within the UK.

Can I have my chair delivered out of office hours?

The price on our Web site includes tailgate delivery within the UK on a certain day of the week depending on your postcode. If you require delivery within office hours on another day of the week, or on a Saturday, then this is possible, but will incur a charge of £95.

Unfortunately delivery on a Sunday is not possible.

With the tilt limiter set in the upright position there is still some movement in the tilt. Why is this?

  • To promote blood circulation
  • For nourishment of the intervertebral discs
  • To increase performance of joints & ligaments

How do I release the tilt limiter on my Aeron?

On the left hand side of your Aeron make sure the rear lever is down. Lean forward and then lean back.

How does the forward tilt work?

Make sure the tilt limiter is released (see above). Lean back in the Aeron, release the forward tilt lever while you are leaning back in the chair, and then lean forward.

How far forward does the forward tilt go?

The seat goes about 5 degrees forward with the back remaining upright.

How do I adjust the tension/resistance in my Aeron?

Release the tilt limiter (see above). Adjust stem on right hand side of chair. Clockwise to increase tension, anti - clockwise to reduce tension.

There seems to be a slight rocking motion on my Aeron. Why is that?

The Aeron has 2 stage gas lift height adjustment which allows it to go higher and lower than most chairs. Because of this range of height adjustment there is a slight rocking motion within the chair.
